Garlic Scapes

What an awesome find. Didn’t know that you have to pull them off of the garlic plants and can eat them. I dehydrated most of them and made a garlic powder and we sliced them and cooked in olive oil …..was great!! This is only one of the batches. We have 700 garlic plants….mmmmm!

Cucumbers

Have to figure what to do with them. Already made a bunch of jars of pickles and cucumber salad. Any other suggestions? 2 kinds – Bristol for eating and National for Pickles.

Leaning and Drop Method

We are leaning and dropping our tomatoes (on left) and cucumbers (on right). We also planted some swiss chard and kale behind the tomatoes. In the center aisle is broccoli, spinach, onions, radicchio, carrots and Salanova (lettuce) was added in the back section.
